      Frequently asked questions

Is this an original Canon product?
      • This is a Fuzion compatible replacement, made by a third party. It is not manufactured by Canon.
      Will this fit my printer?
      • Match your complete printer model to the compatibility list above, and check the cartridge number before ordering.
      What is included?
      • 1 TN229BK black toner cartridge plus 1 complete DR229CL four-drum CMYK set (black, cyan, magenta and yellow). The complete drum set counts as one product; it is not a single-colour drum.
Is a drum the same as a toner cartridge?
      • A toner cartridge contains printing powder. A drum transfers the image during printing. They are separate components on printers that use a separate drum; a toner-only listing does not include a drum.
      How do I install it?
      • Follow the instructions for your exact Canon printer and the replacement supply. Remove the specified protective packaging, avoid touching the chip or drum surface, and follow the printer prompts.
      What does high yield mean?
      • A high-yield toner contains more toner than the corresponding standard-yield option. Pack size is the number of cartridges supplied. Actual page yield varies with coverage and printing conditions.
